CPPA Accredits Diplomat Pharmacy Inc. - Company Provides Exceptional Care for Patients with Unique Medication Needs

 The Center for Pharmacy Practice Accreditation (CPPA) recently accredited Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc., the largest independent specialty pharmacy in the U.S. Diplomat provides patients with medicines for oncology, inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, hepatitis C, blood disorders, and other diseases. Based in Flint, Mich., the company also provides back-end patient support services for national retailers and major hospitals and specialty-care coverage to managed care organizations. Two Diplomat pharmacies in Michigan and Florida have also received dual CPPA accreditation for community and specialty pharmacy practice.

Community Pharmacy Practice Accreditation: Is Accreditation Right for Your Practice?

The Center for Pharmacy Practice Accreditation (CPPA) is now offering an accreditation program for community pharmacies. We recently finished this accreditation process at The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Two Rivers and are the third pharmacy in the nation to become accredited (with three more currently in the process). We wanted to share the process and what to expect for other pharmacies in Wisconsin interested in learning more about community pharmacy accreditation.
